Thank you for your interest in adopting an animal from HerpHaven Reptile Rescue.  Please read this
entire page before you fill out the adoption application.  

The following requirements must be met in order for your application to be approved:

  1. You must be 18.
  2. You must be able to pick up the animal, we will not ship.
  3. While previous experience owning reptiles is preferred you must at least have knowledge of the
    basic care of the species you want to adopt.
  4. You must live in a house, apartment, etc. that does not have restriction on animals and has enough
    space for you to properly house the species you want to adopt.
  5. You cannot live in a city that has a ban on the species you want to adopt.

When filling out this application please take it seriously, watch your spelling, and please do not use IM
lingo.  I will delete any applications that look like a third grader filled it out. I will also delete any
applications that are not completely filled out.  Please be honest, if you have had reptiles in the past that
have died, tell me the truth about why they died.  If you have had to surrender an animal tell the truth.
Based on the answer you provide we may need to ask additional questions before making a final
decision on your application.  It may take several days for me to get back to you after you submit your
application.
